Cast carbon steel billets sized for high-yield re-rolling mills.
We supply premium continuously cast Mild Steel (MS) billets to hot re-rolling mills across Northern and Western India. Our billets are sourced from integrated casting plants in Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha, ensuring strict chemical homogeneity and a clean grain structure that prevents tearing during high-speed rolling.
Conforming strictly structural steel standards, the billets are completely free from internal blowholes, piping defects, and slag inclusions. This makes them ideal for manufacturing high-ductility TMT bars and structural columns.
| Parameter | Certified Limit (IS 2830) |
|---|---|
| Carbon (C) | 0.15% – 0.25% |
| Manganese (Mn) | 0.60% – 0.90% |
| Silicon (Si) | 0.15% – 0.35% |
| Sulphur (S) | ≤ 0.045% |
| Phosphorus (P) | ≤ 0.045% |
| Carbon Equivalent (CE) | ≤ 0.42% max |
| Sizing | 100x100mm, 125x125mm, 150x150mm |
| Length | 6 meters / 12 meters (deviation ± 100mm) |
| Diagonal Difference | Max 10% of billet cross-section |
Note: Billets are cast using continuous casting machines (CCM). Mill test certificates (MTC) showing ladle chemistry are dispatched with each batch.
Our billets strictly conform to IS 2830:2012 carbon steel standards for structural and general engineering purposes. This guarantees that carbon equivalents and sulphur-phosphorus ratios are kept within regulatory limits to ensure safe re-rolling parameters.
We trade square billets in sizes of 100x100mm, 125x125mm, and 150x150mm. The standard length is 6 meters or 12 meters, tailored to the heating furnace width of our client re-rolling mills.
We coordinate rail rakes directly from casting units in West Bengal and Odisha to industrial sidings in North India. Direct truck deliveries can also be organized for local consolidation stockyards.
